Information You Submit
A name, location, or other query entered in a sponsored search tool is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. This site does not store or log those search terms on its own system. The provider’s privacy notice and terms control its handling of the query and any later account details.
If you send an email or message, we retain the information needed to read and answer it. Messages are not shared outside the organization unless doing so is required by law or needed to protect the service and its users. Do not send sensitive victim details, passwords, or government identification numbers.
Technical Data and Cookies
Standard web systems may record technical information each time a page loads. That data can include:
- Internet Protocol address;
- browser name and version;
- device type and operating system;
- pages visited and time spent;
- the referring site, when supplied; and
- request dates and timestamps.
Cookies and similar tools help measure traffic and remember basic preferences. A browser can block or delete cookies, though parts of the site or partner tools may then behave differently. These controls belong in the visitor’s browser settings.
How Data Is Used
Collected information supports ordinary site operation. It may be used to:

We do not sell personal information. Limited data may still reach:
- search partners that must process a submitted query;
- analytics providers measuring site use;
- advertising networks delivering or measuring ads; and
- law-enforcement or government authorities responding to a valid legal order.
Only the information reasonably needed for the purpose should be shared.
Security Has Limits
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect site systems and messages. No internet service, storage method, or transmission is fully secure. We cannot promise that a breach, interception, or technical failure will never occur.
Adults Only
This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor sent personal data may use the Contacts page to request review and deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and verification, a person may ask for a copy of personal information held by this site, request correction, seek deletion, or object to certain processing. A request does not control records held by Mason County, WVDCR, a court, VINE, or another outside service. Contact each custodian for its data.
West Virginia’s public-record law, including §§29B-1-3 and 29B-1-4, governs access to agency records, not this private site’s routine analytics. Those statutes do not replace the privacy rights or procedures that apply to a third-party provider.
Notice Changes
This Privacy Notice may be revised as the site, its providers, or legal duties change. A new version becomes effective when posted here with its updated date.
